You Are Not Forgotten Post Back-to-School Drive with DTLR

The event which provided over 20 Elementary School students with new shoes, a book bag, a school uniform, and assorted school supplies was held Sunday, September 29th. It was organized by SBC Community Development Corporation in partnership with DTLR’s Homestead Store. City of Homestead Council Members Patricia Fairclough, Larry Roth, and Jennifer Bailey were on hand to help out along with volunteers from ASKColestars, LLC , Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority (FIU Chapter), SBC CDC Staff, Millertime Productions & Host TP Miller, and the Women’s Empowerment Circle. Publix provided lunchboxes and Impact Painting provided a free canvas art experience oustide the store along with free facepainting by Jessica Facepainting & a photobooth experience by Smiles to Go.
